Spread the love

Because our lifestyle is sometimes hectic, the stress can cause serious health problems. And it all starts with an itchy scalp. It is a very uncomfortable condition especially if you are leaving in a very humid area. So, on top of the stress, the warm conditions are definitely wreaking a havoc on your hair and scalp. You might also notice the dull, dry, and brittle condition of your hair. Thus, take care of it right away and soothe the itchy scalp with a natural DIY hair mask. Check it out down below.

This DIY will make wonders because it contains only the natural ingredients your hair is missing. I would also prefer this because the store-bought products are really harsh due to their chemicals. And, as we want to avoid that, it is time to turn to Mother Nature.

Thus, get the most benefits from natural ingredients such as honey, pumpkin, bananas and olive oil.

Hence, to make this recipe, you will need:

– a cup of pumpkin puree
– a tablespoon of honey
– two ripe bananas
– 2 teaspoons of olive oil.

Here are the instructions to DIY this hair mask:

1. In a bowl, add the cup of pumpkin puree and start mixing it with a tablespoon of honey. You will need to make a paste so make sure the ingredients are well incorporated.

2. Next, mash the ripe bananas with 2 teaspoons each of olive oil in a processor and add this paste to your bowl.

3. Mix everything very well and apply immediately.

How to use this hair mask:

You can start off by applying it on your scalp and gently massaging it until you cover all the area. Then, spread gradually down to your hair length. Cover your hair with a shower cap and leave the mask to act for 30 minutes. After the time has passed, rinse it off as you would normally do with your regular shampoo.

This will work amazingly because the ingredients are packed with vitamins C and A, in addition to potassium, zinc, and beta-carotene. Your hair will also be luscious, looking amazing and very healthy. But the real benefits will be felt on your scalp, the hair mask soothing the itch.
